*The sum of active temperatures for one day is calculated according to the formula: ST = ((T max + T min )/2) – 10°C and then sum of all the STs for all days from sowing to physiological maturity (black layer formation on the kernel).
A very tall plant with thin, elastic stalk resistant to plant lodging and stalk breaking. It has an early flowering and finishes with the insemination before summer heat and lack of rainfall, which significatly contributes to yeald stability. Its main characteristics are long and regularly shaped ear mostly with 16 rows of large, high-quality kernels.
AS 31 - FAO 300, 102-105 days of vegetation, SC hybrid
Single cross hybrid with high yield potential primarily intended for direct harvest of kernels. The release of moisture from the kernels is very fast. It has got a healthy ear, about 20cm long, with 14-16 rows of deep, large, reddish-yellow dent grain type. The hybrid has an extremely firm and low stalk, strong roots and low inserted ear, which enables growing in high plant populations.
AS 41 - FAO 400 (105-107 days of vegetation, emerging - physiological maturity, 1290°C the sum of active temperatures).
A modern, intensive, medium early hybrid intended for achieving high grain yields with low moisture content.
It is a hybrid created according to demands of modern corn producers, with fast early growth, large leaves and a very attractive plant which closes the rows quickly and thus prevents weeds from growing.
The ears are low inserted, with very thin and about 23cm long corncob with 16 rows of large, wide, golden yellow, healthy, dent type kernel.
AS 42 - FAO 420, 105-108 days of vegetation, SC hybrid
Dent single cross hybrid, intended for the combined harvest of the kernel and the ear, with high grain yields. The kernels release well the moisture in the harvest. The hybrid has a larger ear, filled to the top with kernels even in poor agricultural conditions, it is 23cm long with mostly 18 rows of deep, healthy yellow kernels. It has a taller stalk with medium high inserted ear, exceptional early growth and remains green long at the time of ripening. It is easy to husk and harvest with a picker, well preserved in corn cribs.
AS 51 - FAO 500 (110-115 days of vegetation, emerging - physiological maturity, 1400°C the sum of active temperatures).
Single cross hybrid with high yield potential, primarily intended for direct harvest of kernels. It releases moisture from the kernels very quickly and is one of the fastest growing hybrids in its maturity group. It is about 22cm long, with 16 rows of deep, large reddish-yellow dent grain type. It has a very thin corncob, which gives a high yield percentage of the kernels. The hybrid has an extremely elastic stalk with medium high inserted ear and strong roots, which enable it to be grown in high densities, or to stay for a longer period of time in the field in the fall without any danger of plant lodging. The stalk remains green at the time of full maturity while at the same time the ear husk is dry.
AS 54 - FAO 450 (108-110 days of vegetation, emerging - physiological maturity, 1350°C the sum of active temperatures).
A new, very attractive hybrid from the AS Hibridi's family with the best ratio between the yield and moisture release speed from the kernel.
Its main characteristcs are a very healthy, robust plant which remains green for a long time. The stalk is firm, resistant to plant lodging and tolerant to the corn borer. It endures well the stressful conditions of growing, drought, high temperatures etc.
The ear dries the ear husk fast, it is very large and compact, about 24 cm long with 16-18 rows of orange-red kernels, filled with kernels to the top. The kernel has a high hectoliter mass.
AS 55 - FAO 500, 110-115 days of vegetation, SC hybrid.
Adaptive single cross hybrid with very high and stable grain yields, intended for the combined harvest of the kernel and the ear. It releases moisture from the kernels rapidly and is one of the fastest growing hybrids in its maturity group. This hybrid has a relatively short plant, with low ear insertion, very firm stalk and strong roots which enable growing in higher densities. Its other characteristics are fast early growth and average ear length of about 25cm with 16-18 rows of large, healthy, yellow-orange dent kernels. Grain protein content is 12% which makes it very suitable for livestock feed. Picking is easy and ''clean'' and is performed by pickers. The ear is well preserved in corn cribs.
AS 62 - FAO 600 (115-120 days of vegetation, emerging - physiological maturity, 1500°C the sum of active temperatures).
Fertile and adaptive single cross hybrid primarily intended for picking of the ear. Release of moisture from the kernel is moderate. This hybrid has a relatively short plant, with lower ear insertion, very firm stalk and strong roots which enable it to stay for a longer period of time in the field without any danger of plant lodging. The ear is large, with the average length of about 27 cm with 14-16 rows of very large, healthy, yellow dent kernels and a very thin corncob. Picking is easy and ''clean'' and is performed by pickers. The ear is well preserved in corn cribs.
AS 63 - FAO 650 (120-125 days of vegetation, emerging - physiological maturity, 1550°C the sum of active temperatures).
A very stable hybrid with premium yield potential which are certainly the features with difficult compatibility. This hybrid can be stored in the ear or harvested in the kernel.
Healthy, strong, firm plant, resistant to lodging, with very balanced ears.
Plant remains green for long period of time in the fall where the ear is mature, dry and ready for picking.
The ear is filled to the top, with 16-18 nicely compound rows of healthy, high quality kernels with high hectoliter mass.
AS 66 - FAO 620, 115-120 days of vegetation, SC hybrid.
Single cross hybrid of record high and stable grain yield, has a combined use - picking of the ear, harvesting of the kernel, silage making from the ears, wet grains or whole plants. Release of moisture from the kernel is well. Extra adaptability of the hybrid to different growing conditions, soil and agricultural technology levels, endures poorer soil and lower level systems very well. This hybrid has a very short plant, with low ear insertion, very firm stalk and strong roots which enable it to be grown in high densities and to stay for a longer period of time in the field without any danger of plant lodging or stalk breaking. The stalk remains green at the time of full maturity. AS72 hybrid has a large ear, 23-25cm long with a large number of kernel rows, 18-20, dent grain is deep, healthy and yellow. Picking is easy and ''clean'' and is performed by pickers. The ear is well preserved in corn cribs.
AS 72 - FAO 700 (120-125 days of vegetation, emerging - physiological maturity, 1565°C the sum of active temperatures).
Fertile single cross hybrid with very stable grain yields, primarily intended for harvest of the ear. Release of moisture from the kernel is moderate. AS73 is a very adaptive hybrid to different growing conditions, levels of agricultural technology and endures poorer soils well. This hybrid has a taller, firm stalk, with medium high inserted ear. The stalk remains green long at the time of full maturity. AS73 has the biggest ear of all AS hybrids, 26-29cm long with 14-16 rows of deep, healthy and yellow dent kernels. Picking is easy and ''clean'' and is performed by pickers. The ear is well preserved in corn cribs.
AS 73 - FAO 700 (125-130 days of vegetation, emerging - physiological maturity, 1620°C the sum of active temperatures).
This hybrid is a complete novelty in our market, designed exclusively for making high-quality silage from whole plant corn and its use in feed of the ruminants, especially dairy cows and beef cattle.
The selection program of ''PRINOSMAKS'' is still working on creating new AS hybrids adapted to conditions in Serbia and other Southeast European countries, which will be confirmed by our future results.
