AS 63

FAO 650

  • A relatively short plant with a lower ear insertion, a very firm stalk and strong roots.
  • The ear is large, with the average length of about 27 cm with 14 to 16 rows of very large, healthy, yellow kernels and a very thin corncob.
  • The picking is easy and ''clean'' and performed by pickers. The ear is well preserved in corn cribs.
  • No grain dispersal if the picking starts too late.

  • Suitable for all regions and producers who harvest and store corn in corn cribs.
  • The hybrid is well adapted to the low plant density and stands poor production conditions very well. The sowing density is from 53.000 to 59.000 plants/ha (on 24-27 cm in a row).
  • On better soils sow more densely and on the poorer ones sow less densely.
  • It can significantly increase the size of the ear in low plant population!

The recommended sowing density in poorer conditions is from 52.000 to 54.000 plants/ha, in optimal conditions from 55.000 to 58.000 plants/ha and under irrigation conditions is 60.000 plants/ha.
